The basic tactics are the same, whether it’s Hitler, Joe McCarthy or the guy whose name rhymes with chump. The results are always bad, but vary in HOW bad.
Perhaps we can save our country from fascism’s clutches by figuring out new ways to educate the brainwashed MAGA masses. That requires a lot of simplifying and dumbing down. And we should generally avoid the use of allegories; as the people we’re trying to reach generally can’t understand them.

Dumbed-down version: “After does not mean because.”
