Proud to still be a Texas Roadhouse customer [1]

When I saw the story about the Milton FL location I was crestfallen. I love going to the Texas Roadhouse in our neighboring city (which is >3k miles from Milton), I eye the steak display each time (will this be the time I hand pick my steak? Spoiler, it never is).
They occupy a sweet spot where the steaks are good but not outrageously expensive. I didn’t want to add them to the list of companies I don’t give my money to.
Realizing this is the action of a single location I wanted to know what the corporate view was so I wrote them a nicely worded query asking about their view on the matter and what actions they’ll take.
This morning I got a response:
…Texas Roadhouse loves being a part of the Milton community and took the thoughts shared with us very seriously over the comments made by our Managing Partner's wife on Facebook. As a result of our internal investigation, we have removed the Managing Partner from his current position. This was not a decision that was made lightly. We will continue to work with him on the current circumstances around his employment. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention…
I understand that by din of who they are and where they are headquartered they aren’t going to give a super full throated public reaction (they’d risk alienating the majority of their customers). But the fact that they did take action is redemptive enough for me.
