Moose came home this evening, He is loopy from drugs, he has a cone, and Squirrel hisses at him while Razzle wants to play. Its interesting.
As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!
IAN is a great group to join, and a good place to learn to write diaries. Drop one of us a PM to be added to the Itzl Alert Network anytime! We all share the publishing duties, and we welcome everyone who reads IAN to write diaries for the group! Lil Zen came over just now a brought a soft cone for him. The Dr sent home a cheap plastic hard one and Moose was totally freaked out. I could not imagine him getting any sleep in that but Lil Zen came through. He is more comfortable now. I think he will be fine.
He ate a little and drank a lot of water from Razzle’s bowl, which is not like him atall. Lil Zen says it is the drugs. I am glad he is drinking what ever the urge.
My vet is a hero, his staff are heroes, Moose has had the best care I could give him provided by a group of folks who are dedicated to their patients. I was very lucky to have Lil Zen refer me to him when Razzle was younger. I know he anguishes over his patients, gives very personal attention to the actual work and keeps his fees much lower than the big chain vets and the specialists. It is his calling, not his job. I have such respect for him, I could never adequately express.
I hope we are on the main highway to healing. Thank you all for your supportive comments and concern. It means a lot.
