how bad a person do you have to be to not deserve to have a gun?
the line ‘god made man and winchester made them equal’ is the mantra of the gun owners and they’re right. having a gun DOES approximate equality with the bigger, the stronger and the richer as they are leveled with those who don’t possess those qualities.
in the ability to kill others…
a real question and all attempts to evade that question are distractions from the real concerns…
how bad a person do you have to be to not deserve to have a gun?
when a gun advocate dies after saying that the death of innocents including children is a reasonable price to pay for the right of unfettered gun ownership and then gets killed by a guy with a gun from 200 yards away should that person that killed that guy have had a gun?
all else flows from that question and the only sane answer is no.
