Luigi Mangione has two charges dismissed [1]

The judge for NY vs. Luigi Mangione has dismissed the terrorism charges of first-degree and second-degree murder.

Mangione still faces other state charges and the separate federal murder charge.

“Counts one and two, charging [the] defendant with murder in the first degree (in furtherance of an act of terrorism) and murder in the second degree as a crime of terrorism, are dismissed as legally insufficient,” The judge wrote. “The people presented legally sufficient evidence of all other counts, including murder in the second degree (intentional).”
