Historical photo of Slavery, hidden as "self-harm" on Bluesky. UPDATED. [1]

I've mentioned many times that I'm a fan of Bluesky. Even when they hid a photo of an old painting I did years ago, of two mermaids. This was early in the year, I hadn't been there very long, and felt mildly annoyed but NBD. Anyway, that one was hidden and labeled as "adult content".
A mermaid nipple was a bridge too far I guess.
Which I can kinda understand. It's a mythological creature, nothing real, but it is in a somewhat sexy context. Fair enough. I haven't shared anything remotely like that on Bluesky since.
However...…
Today I posted a screenshot of a photograph taken right after the Civil War. It's a famous picture, actually. One I'd first seen in a history textbook in high school decades ago. One which is currently set to be removed from public view at national parks. Erasing history.
I came back a while after posting it, and saw this-
A reader must tap the "Show" button at right, in order to see this-
The post which is now labeled as self-harm.
I don't know if there's an appeals process that I can pursue or not. I didn't bother the first time I had a post hidden (mermaid nipplegate). Because I really didn't care all that much.
But this? Hell yes I care. I'm having trouble keeping it polite right now, I'm really angry about this. But yes. I care. And I'd think Bluesky would, too, if it was brought to the attention of actual human moderators. Calmly and politely, of course.
Update- In the time it took me to write this post, the original post on Bluesky has had the moderation label removed. It's fully visible now.
However, the link I shared to this diary is now hidden under the self-harm label.
