Film Legend Robert Redford dies at 89 [1]

To some, he was the Sundance Kid, to others, Paul Newman’s partner in “ The Sting. He was also one of t” The Presidebt’s Men”. but for me, and likely many others, Robert Redford’s most indeliable role was as Aging basseball superstar Roy Hobbs, trying to get back to the game he loved so much and will the lowly New York knights and their long-suffering manager Pop Fischer, to the pennant.
Redford died Tuesday morning at the age fg 89, with his family at his side. By any measure, redford ranks among the great actors of his generation, and his founding of the Sundance festival opened the door for so many independent films that otherwise would not get seen by the average American moviegoer. Touch em all, Roy, that homer’s never landing.
