As I watched the elected officials make speeches about the 24th anniversary of the terrorist attack on our nation, I noticed that nothing was said about those who planned and financed that attack.
There was talk about al-Qaida and Osama bin Laden but nothing about Saudi Arabia. Of the 19 terrorist that died in the attack only one was not a Saudi citizen. They were all recruited and sponsored in Saudi Arabia.
President George H. Bush and President George W. Bush both had massive financial contracts with Saudi Oil. President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner received a $2 billion deal with the butcher Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman just six months after Trump left office the first time.
In May of this year, Trump did the Middle East tour and made a deal with the Crown Prince to see them $142 billion of our most modern military weapons plus $20 billion to empower the Saudi Artificial Intelligence program. Oh, and a free $400 million “flying palace” from Qatar.
When Osama bin Laden drew the plans for the 9-11 attack he lived in a cave, just think what he could have done with our latest weapons technology?
The art of the deal does not work so well when you deal with the devil.
