"Run Everywhere" -- From $500 to $70,000 in Three Weeks! [1]

As part of the “Run Everywhere” strategy, for the first time Democrats are running in all 100 Virginia House Districts, largely through the efforts of Dr. Fergie Reid, Jr., a voting rights activist and son of Civil Rights hero Dr. Fergie Reid Sr.
I first wrote a story about this on August 27. At that time, $500 had been raised for the 27 candidates in the reddest districts. By the day after the story, Kossacks contributed another $1,000.
That got the ball rolling.
Now, in three weeks, the Virginia Value Pack 27 has received over $70,000.

Virginia’s Democrats have touted the fact that they are running candidates in all 100 House of Delegates seats, but the party isn’t always putting its money where its mouth is, some candidates say.
One of the candidates, Cindy Green said
she and the 26 other Democrats running in Republican strongholds are doing it for a few reasons: to give voters choices, help build future party benches in the areas, and to support up-ballot votes for Abigail Spanberger, Ghazala Hashmi and Jay Jones as governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general.
