Charlie Kirk was a poseur, with a bad combover [1]

CK was put in front of my face by the internet content algorithms. So this is a persistent first impression rather than a personalized thought process.
His social positions were without empathy (a word he didn’t like) and he was recorded demeaning many identifiable groups of people. Charlie Kirk’s positions followed the shameless right wing practices of loud statements, accusations without substantiation, all followed by loud repetition.
I found his ‘change my mind’ events as meaningless, because he never changed his position despite evidence, except one weekend recently after he criticized Trump, and the right wing jumped on him. From Friday to about Monday, he ‘apologized, and restated his position’ to agree with Trump. And beating up on 18 year olds, who didn’t have 10 years of experience repeating a talking point, wasn’t dialogue. It was sophistry at its strongest, which didn’t prove anything other than the participants were operating on different levels of intent, experience, and prepared language. One on youthful emotion, and the other on crowd tested knock out lines. Must have been cushy to be right wing doctrinaire with millions of dollars of corporate or billionaire money to pad your lifestyle.
I didn’t see him build anything except for an influence machine. He didn’t work to improve people’s lives or build cheaper houses, provide for the “common-weal” {archaic], or even run for office to improve the lives of people around him. He hung with other power seeking types, manipulating media to get more influence through sophistry.
And finally and most obviously, the guy was bald, and had either a bad hairpiece, transplant [Trump+Musk], or a horrid pointy combover [Trump]. He could have done the Marc Andreessen step of shaving it all off, but no, he was clinging to something from the past, in competition with the 18 year old kids around him. As a fellow male pattern balding type, I saw this immediately, and it made me recoil along with a social ick.
