One has to have some sort of mental peg board to comprehend oral, written, or visual communication.
Or in words written by Mark Twain, spoken by an illiterate female slave, “Dem what’s kin read, don’t ‘pear to listen to what it is dey do read.”
After a diary titled “Why conservatives love guns so much” by Oliver Willis, there was a long comments thread. I made a comment myself. The individual who replied to my comment didn’t comprehend my meaning.
Many locals here in south Logan County, KY deer hunt at least once. Then they notice how much trouble it is dealing with a deer carcass and they’re done. A deer doesn’t usually die the instant it gets shot.
I never shoot a deer with anything besides a camera. My camera ain’t a bit heavier with that deer inside. And I might shoot the same deer seven or eight times and it’ll live to tell about it.
