Nepal has had several civil wars and revolutions, each time trying to establish a better system of government. So nobody knows yet whether the current iteration will succeed in establishing some form of democracy, rule of law, and respect for human rights. So far, Nepal has a new President and Prime Minister, and has to stand up all the rest of a functioning government. No word yet on when elections will be held.
