I believe music has a role in political messaging [1]

MUSIC — singing it, playing it, writing it — has been my lifelong passion. Music can deliver important messages, and often it can get past the defenses that people have built against other forms of messaging.

I am offering these two songs in this forum, because I want the messages to be received. I don’t care a whit about personal recognition. I’m not trying to use DailyKos as a launching pad for a music career. (And it’s not as if that’s actually an option at my tender age of 73 anyway.)

If this goes against DK policy, I’m sorry. Markos, take down this post if you think it’s inappropriate, but please say something to us if you do. Thanks.

Anyone who finds these songs with these messages worth spreading, please do so.
