Hi, I'm Jennifer. I'm running for re-election in a red county in the purple state of Colorado.
So why RE-election? It was a bit of a fluke, really. Three GOP candidates and I ran for the seat. The pastor of a far right church called all three and asked each to bow out, but too late: they were all on the ballot and they all thought they had a chance.
So I snuck in.
And the district liked me — I’m thoughtful, well-prepared for meetings, and I listen to the experts. In my four years, our board has given raises each year, yearly bonuses 3 years running, and the district has raised testing scores every year, overcoming COVID losses.
And I liked them — I thrive in three hour meetings (IDK why) and I love the people I’m with. I make decent decisions, good votes, and have learned how to negotiate and work with people who are more conservative than I am.
So I’m running against two conservatives this time around and I need your help.
Not monetarily. I’m good right now and have a plan how to spend the donations I have, unless something comes up. We only have 7 more weeks, after all.
I need Facebook likes and engagement.
Seriously. My page is www.facebook.com/... and I only have 87 followers. I need more. And I would really like it if you looked at my videos and give them a thumbs up, even made it a daily thing. It will help me with reach. I’m trying to get out more videos and I’m trying to make some reels.
I love this district and it will be tragic for it to succumb to people who do not want public schools to exist, so please help a neighbor out?
