Okay… this bit of news really sickens me… and shows how far DOWNHILL the right wing “news” outlets have sunk.
www.rawstory.com/… Fox host sets off uproar with 'just kill them' comment about mentally ill homeless people … After [co-host Lawrence Jones] later adding, “They have given billions of dollars to mental health and the homeless population. A lot of them don't want to take the programs, a lot of them don't want to get the help that is necessary. You can't give them a choice. Either you take the resources that we're going to give you and — or you decide that you are going to be locked up in jail. That's the way it has to be now,” Kilmeade interjected, “Or involuntary lethal injection.” With Jones agreeing, Kilmeade added, “Or something. Just kill them.” Undisturbed by the suggestion, Earhardt chimed in with, “Yeah, Brian, why did it have to get to this point?”
As was noted by MANY on Bluesky — WHY the hell doesn’t this merit instant firing? Is this “free speech”? And even if it is, isn’t FOX responsible for their choice to give this monster a platform? I’ll second Earhardt’s question — why did it have to get to this point: that overpaid sociopaths can spew this kind of crap on the air??
And we’re supposed to be “understanding” and “reach across the aisle”.. to this? I worked with the mentally ill for more than a decade, and many were homeless (many were teens)… this man needs to be censured for advocating murder. JMO.
