Another Saturday Night: Record Plant Studios [1]

['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.']

Date: 2025-09-13

I recently read a terrific book about Rock N’ Roll called, Buzz Me In: Inside The Record Plant Studios by Martin Porter & David Goggin. The studios began in New York City in 1968 and expanded to L.A. and Sausalito, Ca. giving us a storied history of popular music.

So, join me in celebrating Record Plant Studios and all the music made there…..

Mick Jagger — Too Many Cooks (a cover of a 100 Proof song)

Stevie Wonder — Living For The City

Bruce Springsteen — Something In The Night

Gentle reminder: Those on phones appreciate it if you put the name of your selection in your comment along with your song. People using screen readers need this in order to identify the video as well. You know how this works- Put your quarter in the slot and your song in the comments. This is your Saturday night jukebox and the party starts Now!
