We're about a year from the midterm elections. Democrats must choose a unifying message. It should be housing.

Housing prices have been soaring for years and years. Faster than wages. Republicans are to blame. They deny first time home buyer benefits. They deny student loan forgiveness. They deny the average American the ability to afford a home.

They fight for tax breaks for landlords. They fight for corporate consolidation of housing. They fight for urban sprawl instead of urban development.

Democrats would win in a landslide if they focused on affordable housing in rural, suburban and urban areas. Hands down. Full stop. This is it. Got for it!
