The true victim was social order [1]

Charlie Kirk’s fate is neither surprising nor saddening. A person devoted to hatefulness met his end. He was deliberately subversive, seditious, and disgusting, profiting from the pain of others, and in a society where people die every day for no good reason, the best he should be able to hope for should be quick forgetting. He is not a very promising subject for all the various forms of virtue preening. There is no shortage of victims who are not obsessionally hateful.
However, there is the means of his removal. He was, certainly, murdered. And any crime, especially a serious one, undermines and weakens the social structure through which we live. Shrug at the fate of Kirk, but society and social order took a hit when he finally learned of the true glory of the Second Amendment. If you must mourn, mourn for the damage to civil society, and remember that Kirk is only one of a host of victims. He doesn’t deserve more sympathy than others. He deserves none at all, but the social damage of his murder was real, all the same.
There are those who might use his death as an excuse, too. The notorious pogrom in early Nazi Germany, Kristallnacht, “The Night of Broken Glass,” was excused as revenge for the actions of a Jewish student, Herschel Grynszpan, who shot and killed a minor Nazi diplomat whose name does not deserve to be remembered in Paris as retaliation for the deportation of his family from Germany to Poland. The “cover” for the pogrom was transparently false, but it did convince some.
Advice? I think you’ve had enough of that. No one is in a listening mood anyway.
