The disease of delusion [1]

As I reflect on the events that has unfolded in the past eight months of the second term of our Moron in Chief, the most prominent word that comes to mind is delusion . The delusion of his blind followers, of the people he employs, as well as his own delusion, in which he spews so many lies that he himself even starts believing them.

For quite some time, I’ve felt that his arrogance was somewhat ironic, where he knew internally that he was absolutely absurd and out of line, but I’ve recently begun to doubt that concept. He lies so pathologically that he doesn’t even sense himself doing it. To go from “I’ve never wrote a picture” to having said picture released to the public weeks later, from being close personal friends with Epstein to barely knowing him, and so on.

He has trained his flying monkeys (Cabinet) and Ozians (MAGA-heads) so well that they find a way to cope with every single proven fact. First, the birthday book is fake, made-up, etc. Now we call into question is his signature is real on the drawing; a signature which is extremely recognizable to be his. Dozens of documents pre-presidential run contain his signature using only his first name, so claiming this is a reason to doubt the validity of the document is just straight-up delusion.

How we went from, ten years ago, being sooo concerned about the safety of children and the dangers of sex trafficking, placing Hillary Clinton and the Dems at the center of it (falsely, I must add), from blowing it off and shrugging when it involves everyone’s favorite orange is BEYOND ME. This is all starting to feel like a long, torturous, miserable prank.

This is my first post, likely of very many, so hello everyone!

Sincerely, a flabbergasted and stunned 23-year-old with a poli-sci degree, who’s frankly fed up.
