IGNORANT Yeah. Really.
These traitors killed more of the fellow Americans than have been casualties in ANY Foreign War, before or since. And they did it to preserve the ability of the rich oligarchs in the 1% to maintain their profits by continuing an ongoing human atrocity.
I suppose this guy thinks that everything I said was CRT. I suppose he thinks what I said was “Hating White People,” although I recall that many of the Union Soldiers who died in that War were White too. Many of the Freedom Riders were White. Just about everyone who voted for the Civil Rights and Voting Rights Acts, was White.
This isn’t about who you are, it’s about the choices you make.
This is what they’re taught by Fox News, the Daily Wire and Newsmax — media outlets that are owned by modern-day oligarchs who have every intention to promote lies — erasing factual history and reality — in order to increase their profits to the detriment of the common man and their employees and workers.
Particularly those in the South.
Again, the modern-day Slavery is the Criminal Justice system and they are driven to constantly use the shibboleth of “Black Crime” to drive their Racism.
Black people do not “commit most of the crime.” The most common crime is larceny and it is committed by hundreds of thousands of White people every year. The total number of traffic (and other) offenses by Whites is 1.5 million per year, that alone is almost more than the total number of Black crimes (1.8 million).
69% of all crime, and 59% of violent crimes are committed by White People according to the FBI Uniform Crime report on arrests. That is “Most” of the crime.
Yes, the percentage for Black people arrested for all crimes is high at 26.6% but that certainly isn’t “most crime”. Then again, Black people are targeted, stopped, interrogated, searched, arrested and killed by police about 2.5 times more often — so being at 26%, which is about twice our representational percentage of 12%, would exactly track with that. Black people don’t do “more crime,” they get targeted and arrested by police at double their rate. And as I’ve said many times before, even though crime is going down, Black and White people use and sell drugs at the same rate, but on top of being arrested 2.5 times more often, Black people are charged and sentenced for drug crimes 5 times more often.
The United States experienced a 25% decline in its prison population between 2009, its peak year, and 2021.3 While all major racial and ethnic groups experienced decarceration, the Black prison population has downsized the most.4 But with the prison population in 2021 nearly six times as large as 50 years ago and Black Americans still imprisoned at five times the rate of whites, the crisis of mass incarceration and its racial injustice remain undeniable.5 What’s more, the progress made so far is at risk of stalling or being reversed.
This is the result of the biases of lawyers, judges and juries who have long been trained to generally assume that a white person is probably “innocent” and that a black person is probably “guilty.” Therefore, they behave accordingly. A white suspect is often afforded the “benefit of the doubt” — a black suspect usually isn’t.
The myth of “Rampant Black Crime” is a deliberate systemic lie. It’s a product of bias that is built into the system as it was designed. It’s a lie that exists to keep industrial crime and prison complex running smoothly, particularly since Slavery is still allowed for the “Duly Convicted.”
13th Amendment Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
They keep telling us that “Slavery is Over”, but it’s not. They keep telling us that since the Civil Rights Era “Racism is Over” but we still have Housing Discrimination, Job Discrimination, Loan Discrimination and since Black Men are being sent to prison 5 FUCKING TIMES MORE OFTEN, we know that it’s not “over.”
They say that we now have the right to vote, but racial gerrymandering has taken as many as 16 seats from minority districts. So sure, now we can finally vote — if your polling place hasn’t been closed and you haven’t been secretly purged from the rolls or caged — but does it have the impact that it should? Nope.
Without the more level playing field provided by the Freedom to Vote Act, states draw congressional districts using wildly different rules. Some of this decade’s congressional maps are models of fairness; others are decidedly not. Both parties engaged in gerrymandering after the 2020 census, but, overall, the bias in this cycle’s maps strongly favors Republicans due primarily to aggressive gerrymandering in GOP strongholds in the South and Midwest. In total, the Brennan Center estimates that this gerrymandering will give Republicans an advantage of around 16 House seats in the 2024 race to control Congress compared to fair maps.
16 seats would have swapped control of the House. Hakeem Jeffries would be the Speaker. Nothing is over.
The predatory commerce that enabled and drove the Slave system is still with us. It’s still here — and these people are doing everything they can to perpetuate it through the criminal justice system for the foreseeable future.
