SCOTUS Strikes Again [1]

Your appearance now dictates if you are suspected of not being a United States citizen. SCOTUS just allowed your appearance to be evidence in determining grounds for your arrest and seizure. Can ICE agents, at a glance tell the difference between Navajo, Commanche, Black Foot, Seminole or any of the indigenous tribes who occupied this land before it was invaded by white Europeans, and those members of the Latin American community? Is participating in cultural heritage evidence enough evidence to determine criminal activity? Are people participating in Cinco de Mayo grounds for arrest? How about Saint Patrick’s Day?

If appearance is the determining factor of criminality and we have masked armed gunmen sitting outside a church, how do we know who they are, are they KKK members waiting to shoot up a church? Could they thieves waiting to rob a bank or other financial facility in the area? If they don’t identity themselves, how do we know? If they do identify, how can we be sure?

There is a difference between law enforcement and intimidation. Law enforcement encourages an atmosphere of trust and safety; intimidation only fosters an environment of distrust and fear. It is the difference between Sheriff Andy Griffith and the Gestapo or KGB. Do armed patrols of masked men whose eyes can’t be seen, foster confidence in a community? How safe would you feel in a financial institution or wok place if the security forces were so adorned? How can you tell the difference between the masked intimidators and the criminal perpetrators? Intimidation only pushes the pendulum towards protest and civil disobedience or a population of the subjugated and dispirited. Like the indigenous populations on reservations or the black populations in the Jim Crow towns.

In the world according to Trump, crime must be eliminated and criminals punished. But in Trump’s world the only true crime is any act that disparages Trump or is counter to his interest. The criminals that assaulted the DC police were freed and exonerated because they paid homage to Trump. The police whose faces were in plain view and identified by insignia and protected the capital were disparaged, denigrated and punished. This is not support for law enforcement.

As our representatives and legislators walk through the nation's capital, around the grounds facing armed men loyal to a man, not an ideal, that is intimidation, not law enforcement or law and order.

The Department of War is a misnomer celebrated by a deluded failure who has never walked the battlefield jungle or desert, but has declared himself a war hero. The secretary of war is a besotted lap dog who pursues the glory of youth and valor and his only qualification for the position he’s in is loyalty to that deluded failure. Together they seek to dismantle the national defense moving funds from the external defense to the internal subjugation of the Nation. We have been isolated from allies and enemies both ideologically and financially thanks to the misguided and duped efforts of Donald Trump. The ego of Trump requires that homage be paid, and honor given him, that is why every meeting and function requires the attendees to bow and babble on about his greatness. This is also the reasons these meetings last two hours longer than any other administrations meetings.

Listening to Border Czar Tom Homan on tv this morning prattle on about how he goes through all the reports and sees and ensures that all these criminal and terroristic grandmas and lawn workers are driven from these shores to ensure the sanctity of the Nation was implausible and nauseating. The major evidence of crime and terroristic activity is crossing the border. Statistically immigrant crime only accounts for ten percent of overall crime committed (of course this statistic might be outdated by now). Something to think about when considering the amount of funds being poured into immigrant crime and ignoring domestic crime. Homan also went on how US workers are being disenfranchised by immigrant labor. How he had to find US workers to fix his roof. When was the last time you saw white workers on a roof? I only see the white supervisors in the air-conditioned trucks watching the minority workers. Most of the supervisors I have talked to prefer immigrant labor because they are more reliable and efficient. If one were to opine on white workers on a roof, do they inspire confidence?

The issue that really sticks in my craw as the saying goes is with those that claim sovereign citizenship versus the immigrant population. Sovereign citizens are people who say they are not US citizens, they oppose paying taxes and the government, they amass weapons and explosives, they isolate and threaten any who approach their property, they threaten the good order and security of the area they occupy. No one is deporting them!!! I see a racial issue with this aspect.

So this is my opinion piece, you are entitled to yours.
