Naomi is not pretty [1]

Edited to add; Naomi does not want to be called beautiful, she knows she does not fit beauty standards. She has a mirror, as someone pointed out it is a bit insulting to keep calling her that, because she knows she is not and that the “true beauty is within” is one of the biggest myths there is, not because it’s not true, but because it is not practiced as such. So, please respect her wishes and don’t call her beautiful.
Naomi is not pretty
Naomi is confident
Naomi is strong
Naomi is self-assured

Beauty is praised in society
Beauty turns heads on the streets
But beauty isn’t real
Beauty doesn’t last
---
Beauty is physical
Beauty isn’t a quality
Beauty is fickle
Beauty is often ugly
---
No Naomi isn’t a beauty
But Naomi speaks to me
For Naomi loves herself
And that in itself is real
----
And I’ll take real
Over beauty
Any day
Any time!
