trump will certainly get boo'd and jeered, as he was in 2015. It is likely to get more boisterous today now that the news is out. Although the scenes and noise will not be televised, there is something called the Internet and smart phones with video cameras. There will be plenty of videos; let's post videos and links here on DailyKos.

The last time President Trump attended a US Open match, as a presidential candidate in 2015, the booing was so loud that multiple news outlets wrote stories about the critical crowd reaction. ESPN’s live broadcast lingered on shots of Trump during a quarterfinal match.
Here’s the key text from the USTA email obtained by Bounces: www.benrothenberg.com/...
“With respect to Broadcast Coverage, the President will be shown on the World Feed and the Ashe Court Feed during the opening anthem ceremony. We ask all broadcasters to refrain from showcasing any disruptions or reactions in response to the President’s attendance in any capacity, including ENG [Electronic News Gathering] coverage.”
Ben Rothenberg adds that the USTA’s plan to show Trump during the anthem but there will be other opportunities for booing and chanting during the game -
Though Trump being shown on the large video screens around Ashe would make for the most obvious occasion for booing or other dissent to erupt, U.S. Open attendees are also capable of chanting or booing in protest of Trump at other times of the match, which may be unavoidable for broadcasters to successfully censor if they cause any significant disruption to the match.
How much blame we cast on the USTA and ESPN/ABC which are owned by Disney is debatable. But, we can guess that the request/order/threat came from the White House, which is always concerned with perception control about the worst president in the history of the U.S.
The U.S. Open Tennis men’s final between second-seeded Carlos Alcaraz (Spain) and defending champion Jannik Sinner (Italy) starts at 2:00 p.m. EDT.
Let’s make some noise and some good trouble.
Let’s hope this will inspire more confidence in ordinary folks to stand up and resist and help win Congress in 2026.
