Latest Moves By Trump Over Epstein Cover Up Remind Me Of What Rachel Maddow Said About Politicians. [1]

It’s almost cliche, but Rachel Maddow was correct that you should never listen to what a politician says when it comes to a specific issue. You need to watch said politician’s actions to determine how they really feel or think about an issue. Now, the legacy media and Trump cultists still act if Trump will keep his word on releasing the Epstein case files to the public, when it is painfully obvious there is a cover up going on. Looking past Trump’s bullshitting, there were two developments this week that clearly demonstrated Trump’s continued cover up of the Epstein scandal. The first was on display during the press conference Epstein’s victims held last Weds. The second piece of evidence that Trump will never release the Epstein case files came with the jihad declared against Republican Thomas Massie of Kentucky.
Anyone notice the theme during the press conference held by those brave women? Of course, there were many, but all the women agreed that the DOJ hasn’t done shit for any of them. It appears that at no time did the DOJ alert the women that Ghislaine Maxwell was to be interviewed then moved to a cushy “prison” in Texas. You would think that would be the “floor” if Trump was sincere in wanting to help Epstein’s victims find some justice.
Instead, Trump doesn’t tell the women anything. The Epstein survivor have to find that one of their rapists is getting special treatment from the government through the media. A smarter bullshitter would at least go through the motions of notifying the victims to at least show a modicum of empathy. But Trump clearly is never going to release those files, and in fact, he accused the rape victims of being part of a “Democrat Hoax.”
It’s straight up, “FUCK YOU B*****S!” time with Trump.
The next move wasn’t just the leak of a whipping against the House resolution to release the Epstein files. That move was bad enough. Now, we have an open declaration of WAR against the “traitor” Republican Congressman Thomas Massie of Kentucky.President Donald Trump and his top political advisers are plotting an aggressive push to oust one of his most persistent Republican adversaries: Rep. Thomas Massie.
Speaker Mike Johnson and his leadership team are sending their clearest signals to date that their conservative colleague will have to fend for himself as Trump’s allies prepare to dump millions into Massie’s district to purge him from the Northeastern Kentucky district he’s represented for nearly 13 years. In interviews with CNN, five members of House GOP leadership declined to offer their backing for Massie’s reelection bid – and Johnson would not say if he’d support his colleague… Trump and his political advisers are girding for a blockbuster primary fight next year. A pro-Trump super PAC called “MAGA Kentucky” has reserved $1.6 million in ads this summer, according to AdImpact data reviewed by CNN. The group is being led by Chris LaCivita, Trump’s 2024 campaign co-manager, and pollster Tony Fabrizio. And there could be a lot more anti-Massie money to come. Pro-Israel groups like AIPAC also plan to spend big to oust Massie, who has a long history of voting against US support for Israel, according to a person familiar with the plans.
Johnson has gotten his marching orders from Trump. Massie is to be challenged during the primary next year. And it looks like they may have a candidate to run against Massie: state senator Aaron Reed. He’s interested, and Reed is also a former Navy SEAL. Therefore, you can just imagine the types of ads that will be run during that primary.
Think about this. It’s now become a kind of norm for Trump and other Republicans to target and drive from office any Republican who might disagree with the leadership on some issue. And while the Trump cultists want their Republicans in D.C. to check in their souls to Trump when they enter the capitol, I’m not sure that that Massie will be taken out so easilty.
What’s your argument going to be to the Trump cultists who are disappointed they are not seeing the Epstein files? Remember, the Trump fanatics were PROMISED that there was a treasure trove of evil Democrats in the Epstein files. They are upset that Bill and Hillary Clinton and other evil Democrats aren’t in prison or executed. This was supposed to be like Christmas, only the Trump lunatics are getting nothing. Not even a lump of coal to burn to own the libs! Instead, I’m sure the winning counter argument is “We need to protect pedophiles!”
Also, I think that Massie has covered his right flank pretty well. Massie wants to be even more extreme than Trump on destroying the government. And that shit plays well in Massie’s district.
Nevertheless, Trump wants a jihad against a fellow Republican who took him at his — gags and spits — word that he would release the Epstein files. Probably because Massie believes that lots of Democrats are in those case files. But you have to say one thing for Massie, he already dumped one billionaire Republican who was a Epstein fan out of those files: John Paulson.
These developments shout from the highest mountain top that Trump will never release the Epstein files. Instead, we are going to have one of those thousands of FBI employees who poured over the files to find Trump’s name to leak to the media. It’s the only way we will find out anything as long as Trump is alive.
