I’ve been watching this series and thought it was OK. The big cities was umm, because I had seen most of that on other sources. I really enjoyed her trip to the Pryvoz Market in Odesa. Such wonderful people, so much choice of fresh produce, seafood, pork, everything. I mentioned it in a Diary and someone responded that’s why the Orcs bombed it. Woe on me. Now it is getting to something I’ve really wanted see. Rural Ukraine. I’ve seen countless videos of villages turned to rubble. Lil old ladies pulled from the basements of their destroyed homes, and I’ve wondered, “What is life like in rural Ukraine?” . Tens of thousands of people relocated, literally at the last minute. Now she is giving it a go. I can’t help but remember the times I was left at my mother’s parents for a time. They had 80 acres in N AL and worked it. cotton, corn, and moonshine when the crops failed. 2 mules, milk cow, pigs, chickens, and a garden for canning . The lil ol ladies pulled from basements in Ukraine always show shelves of canned veggies so I related. So now she is in a village and I must expand on Decimus Adaptive Indominable and add resilient.
SPOILERS ALERT to FOLLOW
2nd Episode she meets a lady with a Green House. She had 3 before her village was destroyed. She was relocated and received a grant to start a new one, That’s where my grandparent’s and her part company. He was “I ain’t asking for nothing if I can’t get it on my own” and the lady in Ukraine says, “Take everything from me, give me a hand and I’ll give more than I was given.
