TRUMPS MANY STROKES OF GENIUS [1]

In the game of dumb and dumber — the president is always awarded the moniker of “dumb” — but …. wait a minute …. who’s dumber… the idiot in charge or the morons who let it play out?

Lots of eloquent and densely worded articles over here denouncing, complaining, resenting, accusing etc… all the hallow cries of losers who are just gonna lay down and take it.

The man is a GENIUS — he gets to rob, drain, destroy and play sadomasochism with the USA. And he just might be running the ship while teetering away with mini strokes.

It’s like loosing a game of chess to an earthworm.

The SOB only has but a few plays in the playbook — no need for elaborate schemes — he deflates the football in front of the camera and we pretend there is some magical power at play. It’s like Bruce Jenner loosing the decathlon to Homer Simpson and blaming Homer Simpson for the loss.

So this article is making 2 claims and some conclusions.

1. The man is very good and emotionally intelligent at inflicting injury, loss and suffering as a survival tactic. The cult leader has some skills.

2. he looks to be having mini strokes.

3. We let this shit happen .

because we do: the opponent must be larger and stronger and more powerful than he is — because if he’s not — that means we are dumber and weaker than we would like to think of ourselves. So we are a bunch of pretty fuckin vain and lazy ignoramuses.

If your personal plan to save your country is to “vote” and that is your hail mary. We are fucked.

Stomping shouting and screaming about the vote and stopping or castigating other forms of empowerment because they could affect the vote is risky betting. Putting all your money on the DNC to deliver you to the promised land is delusional. I question if that bus even stops there.

Holding out for voting to fix everything is like claiming the most important thing a rocket scientist does is get out of bed and go to work. We all do that — it’s ground level for every job. Voting is not enough. and for all the money the left spends to get people in the booth our voters don’t seem to be motivated by the efforts — we keep loosing when we out number the other side????

If we really wanted to get our people voting we would offer the cookies for people who voted and give out the reward after they vote — the promises and rallies don’t get your voters in the booth. What if there was a concert and it costs 50.00 per ticket to get in. But if you have your proof of voting — it’s free. If the band has a progressive fan base - its all win win. Even if right wing voters (who do vote) take advantage of the offer — they are opening their minds to the other side.

Your opponent is creating doubt, anger, blame, and disillusionment to divide you and retain power. Talking about unity isn’t a great expression of unity — it needs to be culturally created. Isolated educated thinkers who prefer to disagree and argue nuance have limited seating at the dungeon masters get together and are not generating mass appeal.

The other side went nuts with astro turf protesting and free events that went on for decades to cure and cultivate the maga brain that votes without question. The Qanaon movement was having sing alongs at the holiday Inn and pulling in a decent crowd while you pointed your finger at the idiots.

We need to make culture.

I belong to an organization that gives away seeds and plants and gleans food from gardens and farms for food kitchens and the folks who glean get to go home with a portion of the harvest. No one needs to talk politics — it brings people to the progressive side. No one on the right is against it. There are some right wing nut bags that get influenced by this stuff — they go do guerrilla planting on public land. They weren’t gonna vote your way, but over time they are changing and the culture that culted them doesn’t understand them now so they are decidedly more independent and the deeper they go into the culture that is there for them to participate in the more they change.

There is a right wing mega church where I live that gets the place packed after having car fixing fairs in the parking lot. Come over on Saturday and people will help you fix your car. Do it a few times and the pews are full on sunday. When attendance drags - do it again.

The media has taken the knee to a dictator and you wanna make the news????

Be an American. Join something. Make your community better. Build Unity and build strength. Stop pointing fingers and find where you can join hands. Do something that requires your physical presence and be the future. Stop quoting Gandhi and just do it.
