Photo Diary: Aircraft at the USS Intrepid Air and Space Museum, NY [1]

The Intrepid Air and Space Museum has around 25 airplanes on exhibit, spanning the era from the Second World War through Vietnam and the Cold War.
Some photos of some of the displays.
My sister-in-law and my two nephews on the flight deck. She served on a couple of Navy carriers.
F9F Cougar, an early jet fighter
F11F Tiger, used mostly as a trainer. This one is in Blue Angels livery.
F-14D Super Tomcat fighter
A-12, the supersonic interceptor version of the SR-71 Blackbird spy plane
Israeli Kfir fighter, used by the Navy as an “Aggressor” during training
F3H Demon, a failed jet fighter from the 1960s
AV8 Harrier “jump jet”
F-4 Phantom II, a Vietnam-era fighter
Polish-built MiG-17 Soviet fighter
Soviet MiG-21 undergoing restoration
F4U Corsair, a fighter/bomber used in WW2 and Korea. This is the GM-built version known as FG-1.
TBM Avenger, a WW2 torpedo bomber
