VIVE LA FRANCE - September 10th general strike? [1]

a friend in france told me that the whole working populace of France is going to SHUT THE COUNTRY DOWN on the 10th of September — the prime minister (who makes around $20K a month) needs the workers to WORK MORE. besides the cuts — primarily to health care — he has declared that there are too many holidays. need to work more. make more money for France’s debt. so he’s cancelled the centuries old easter monday and — apparently because there’s just too many holidays in the month of may — the celebration of the allied victory in europe on may 8.
peasants! get back to work! the oligarchs need more money. france needs more money.
people are planning to SHUT IT DOWN. trains planes busses taxis gas-stations schools pharmacies hospitals schools roadways banks grocery stores... it doesn’t seem to have “leaders” really, just the general citizenry thinks that the government has … overstepped?
is it true? ahhhhh. france does hold the gold medal for protests. and general strikes. oh and revolution too, i guess. and yes, of course, certainment — i approve of a GENERAL STRIKE here.
