Save the 2026 elections! [1]

You know it is coming. Dangerous Donald is going to try to wreck the 2026 elections by hook or by crook. We need an action plan right now to get ahead of this. Here is my humble effort to do just that. Please add to it!

1. Beat the Big Lie : Get ahead of Delusional Donald’s next big lie. Trump is already sowing the seeds to justify doing whatever he can to steal the 2026 election. He is talking about vote fraud and problems with mail in voting and voting machines, demanding voter IDs. He will keep repeating this as a basis to end voting or mess with ballots likely in some key blue districts in swing states. And he if we do not push back hard enough, he will convince a lot of people that there are problems. For example, the reason we have ICE and DHS thugs stealing people and sending them to overseas gulags is that the right wing successfully sold another big lie, that our nation is over run with violent illegal immigrants. They sold this for years, and the majority of Americans bought into this in one way or another. We cannot allow this to happen again with our voting rights. We must get ahead of this by endlessly stating that THERE IS ZERO SIGNIFICANT VOTE FRAUD in the USA. None, zero, zip, nada. Everyone who is stating otherwise is bullshitting you. We must constantly getting out the news that there is no problem whatsoever with mail in voting, voting machines, voter ID, or our elections in general. And have great facts at hand to back this up, which are available from the ultra conservative Heritage Foundation that clearly shows that vote fraud is a nothingburder (https://www.brookings.edu/articles/how-widespread-is-election-fraud-in-the-united-states-not-very/): “Looking at the seven closest states, we find for instance that in Arizona, Heritage had to go back 25 years, over which there were 36 elections held and 42,626,379 ballots cast, in order to come up with 36 cases of fraud. The percentage of fraudulent votes was a minuscule .0000845%, and no election outcome was altered by ballot fraud throughout that time period. In the highly contested state of Pennsylvania, Heritage data goes back 30 years and covers 32 elections with over 100 million votes cast and found only 39 cases of voter fraud. This is the case with all the other states where the vote is likely to be close. There were a handful of reported cases of fraud amongst millions and millions of ballots cast, and none of them shifted the election outcome.” All Dem politicians and media should memorize these facts and bring them up all the time: 30 years, 32 elections, and 39 cases of fraud. Total!!!!!

2. The Media . The media and the need for better journalistic integrity needs to be an issue. They must not be allowed to just let Trump get away with the Big Lie. We need to encourage those who might have the courage to push back on him: “Sir, there is clearly no problem whatsoever with our elections, so why do you keep saying this? Are you being fed bad information?” Call out the media to not just regurgitate Dangerous Donalds lies about voting. Challenge them to man up and push back, ask what evidence anyone for these problems: “Speaker Johnson, can you point to any election in the last 30 years that was clearly decided by fraudulent votes?” Vote fraud is NOT a problem in this nation.

3. National Guard and other Military : You know he will be using them to muck things up, and we need to notify NG and military of their duty. We should send every single National Guard member and every potential military personnel a notice to remind them of their oath and their duty. They must follow the law and not illegal orders. They must not allow themselves to by used as pawns in this coming attempt to usurp all power. To go along would be treason, and we will be taking names. It looks like from DC that some vets are on this. If you are a vet, make sure you folks are ready in your local community.

4. Legal Make sure the lawyers and judges are ready. While I am fairly confident that they are probably on this, we should inquire of the Marc Elias’s of the nation if they are ready to act with all due haste to get to court to stop his obstruction of the voting system. If you are in the legal community, make sure your locality to ready to be on top of this.
