This story is still developing, but according to multiple sources Trump is going to give a live address in under an hour.
Assuming nobody on staff starts a liveblog to cover, I’ll be watching and this can suffice.
There is little about this in mainstream news. The Hindustan Times had an article about it hours ago, but I don’t find them to be a reliable source. Now the Independent is reporting on it, so I’m considering it confirmed pending an official statement otherwise.
UPDATE: Now there’s articles on CNN I found, so the word is getting out. According to reports, the DoD has said the announcement will be about the relocation of Space Command from Colorado to Arizona (CORRECTION: Alabama). That is the official reason, but speculation is rampant that he is giving this address to quell rumors about his health after a quiet and private Labor Day weekend.
I suppose we’ll find out soon enough if that is the reason for his appearance, but even if that’s the only reason he’s doing this it still gives us a chance to see his current condition.
Well, the topic is boring, so let’s have some fun.
