Stand With Ukraine Day, August 24

If ever there was a modern-day David and Goliath, it must be the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people against the brutal Russian onslaught. August 24 is Ukrainian Independence Day. Let us use that day to stand in solidarity with our Ukrainian friends in support of democracy.

The Wednesday Movement in Baltimore will do its part, taking to our regular street corner from 4:30 – 5:30 on the 24th. We encourage others, everywhere, to do their part. Fly the Ukrainian Flag, wear its colors (blue and yellow), stand proudly with Pro-Ukraine – Anti-Putin signs, and donate if you are able.

The people of Ukraine are standing their ground against unimaginable odds. Let’s do ours in support of them.
