One Ukrainian versus three Russians. Advantage: Ukraine.
x A soldier from Ukraine’s 425th Assault Regiment "Skala" single-handedly kills three Russians near Chuhunivka, Kharkiv region. He first chases one into retreat and finishes him, then takes out two more. It appears the 425th has been redeployed to contain Russian advances in this sector.

The fallout continues from Monday when hackers romped through Aeroflot’s database.
x ✈️❌ Aeroflot on Tuesday canceled 53 flights to and from Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport after a cyberattack on the company’s IT infrastructure. ‼️ The day before, 59 round-trip flights were canceled for the same reason. Regional routes, however, continued to operate as usual.

x Russia: Panic at FSB Counterintelligence Department "T" in anticipation of mass purges following the cyber attack on Aeroflot. They are responsible for security of all transport infrastructure in Russia. Last purged after the 2022 truck bomb attack on the Kerch Bridge in occupied Crimea.

One thing Russians do well is lose men and equipment trying to cross rivers.

A Russian soldier is killed by an artillery strike. His comrade retreats. Then three more Russians walk out together to the exact same spot and get killed when another artillery shell in that same spot.
x Those occupiers thought lightning doesn’t strike the same place twice — but that doesn’t apply to Ukrainian artillery, especially when a Russian brings two more with him.

The IRIS-T system was thought to be just for cruise missiles with Patriots used for the faster ballistic missiles. But Ukraine says it shot down ballistic missiles with IRIS-T.
x ❗️Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Oleksii Makeiev stated that 🇺🇦Ukrainian air defense forces managed to shoot down 🇷🇺Russian ballistic missiles using 🇩🇪German IRIS-T SAMs on several occasions.

String some lights on that thing and it’s a Christmas tree.
The Tendrivska Spit juts out into the Black Sea south of the Kinburn peninsula.
x 😎 GUR special forces conducted a successful operation on the Tendrivska Spit. 💥On the night of August 28, reconnaissance troops landed on the Tendrivska Spit and eliminated the position of occupiers, Zont EW complex and Rosa radar station. 🇺🇦 Ukrainian flag flew over the island.

The Scooby van got toasted but the gas station looks remarkably intact.
x Russian troops in Horlivka were transporting large-caliber artillery shells in their “Bukhanka” van when they decided to stop at a gas station. But the Ukrainian Armed Forces had other plans — that’s exactly where they got blown to pieces. 18–20 km from the front line.

He barely had time to be extorted or humiliated by his commander.
Zaluzhny’s lessons of war are insightful. He was at a Vogue conference on Ukraine leadership.
x The Lessons of War -- Valeriy Zaluzhny
(Taken from a column he wrote in Vogue-UA on 07/27/2025) Number 7 is my favorite. It is what separates Ukraine from Russia and the core reason that Ukraine will win. Lesson 1 - We did not let ourselves be deceived.

Trust in God, and do not be afraid: a society that seeks security must be ready to pay for it. Lesson 2 - The greatness and power of the enemy is not always what its leaders and propagandists imagine it to be. The spirit that tears the body into battle is the only measure of strength, even in the conditions of high-tech warfare. Lesson 3 - A neighbor who helps you in trouble helps himself first of all. If he didn't come to your aid, he is part of your trouble. You need to be friends with your neighbors. And you need to be able to defend yourself from those who don't want to be friends. Lesson 4 - The enemy who did not break you on the battlefield will break you in the rear at the same moment. With the same force, but more insidious. With the same intentions, he will come to your neighbor who helps you. Lesson 5 - There are no miracles in war. Some laws that govern war are thousands of years old, while others arise just now. Only they influence the course of war. Sometimes, to understand this, you have to pay a very high price. Ignorance of these laws does not protect you from defeat. Lesson 6 - When thinking about victory, you need to be prepared to be alone. Your victory is not always beneficial to your allies. Those who do not fight for their lives always have their own benefit. And also: weapons that do not bring benefits are not used. What kind of weapons these are, I will not say. Lesson 7 - The most precious resource in war is people. And not only because they cannot be quickly replaced, but also because they can be mentally lost and rendered useless. The enemy is constantly working on this, and not only on the battlefield. Lesson 8 - When fighting a larger enemy alone, think: what victory do you want and can get now, and what - in the future. Decisions have their time. It is not always now. Lesson 9 - Your friends and allies don't always think the same way you do.
These assholes probably thought this was funny.
x Just insanity. In Russia's Dagestan region, they forced a donkey down a zip wire 🤬 I don't know. Maybe it was on its hen do before being married to a "brave" soldier?
