Looking Ahead: What America May Be Like in 2056 [1]

What kind of country will America be in 2056—on our tricentennial? Will we finally be a more just, sustainable, and equitable society, or will we face deeper divisions, climate catastrophe, and democratic erosion?

I’ve written a reflective blog imagining what our nation may look like thirty years from now. It’s not a prediction so much as a provocation—a way of asking what kind of future we're really building today.

I explore the possible evolution of:

Our democracy (or lack of one)

Climate change impacts and resilience

Shifts in cultural and moral values

Economic justice and inequality

The soul of American identity

The future will be shaped by the choices we make now—individually and collectively. I welcome your thoughts on where we're headed, and whether we can still shape that path together.
