Divine Justice – Let MAGA Conservatives Have to Raise a Child Just Like the President [1]

When I was growing up, I sometimes heard the words of encouragement given to a child that he or she could grow up to be president.
There was the sense that a president of the United States would be a great man (or woman) with strong leadership skills and capable of balancing the many demands of the office with grace, virtue, and determination.
The president would be the best person this country could produce, and anyone would be proud to be the parent of such an individual.
Fast forward forty years.
So, my challenge to “conservatives” now is to imagine raising a child like our current President and see what it would be like to be his parent.
Imagining him bullying other children at school, starting fights for no reason, lying continually to parents and teachers, stealing from and shaking down weaker classmates, assembling a group of weak and ignorant “friends” who never disagree with him and support his bullying and aggression on the playground (or in the White House), and in class.
What would a respectable parent do with such a “difficult” child? He would be headed towards a “special” disciplinary school for problem children, or to reform school, or to a military school, and eventually to prison in many cases.
His parents would no doubt find him leaving the household for whatever reason a great relief.
But what if his parents were rich like the President’s? They would have options. They could send him off to a boarding school so he would be some else’s problem. If he misbehaved, they could offer the school money or an endowment to keep him. Boarding schools are part babysitter and part educational institutions. The parents could avoid dealing with him until he became other people’s problem disrupting workplaces and social situations and abusing women as an adult.
But once he was given some or all of his parent’s money, he would become a social and business pariah to many of those who came to know his business tactics well. He would be a threat to anyone who he dealt with him.
His money would protect him from the consequences of his illegal and immoral actions. He would use the legal system as a cudgel to attack the many enemies he would create.
As President, the constitutional ability to grant pardons and hand-pick the Supreme Court made him above the law which was a dream come true for any bully, criminal, or sexual abuser.
The founding fathers could not imagine such a person could obtain the great power of the Presidency which came with the power to appoint a compliant Supreme Court.
But this is where we are as a nation as the moment.
But let us return to what it might be like for a parent who is not wealthy.
Difficult, selfish, deceitful, children can do no end of mischief to disrupt a family. And middle-class people cannot afford to send them to camp for months or to boarding school to avoid them.
They are stuck. Let the child go to juvenile jail (if a teenager), put them up for adoption, beat them into submission, or stoically put up with their misbehavior.
Those are the options.
They cannot buy their way out of whatever problems they cause to marriages, siblings, school mates, neighbors, schools, and merchants.
So let us look for some potential justice in the situation.
To the 30 to 40 percent who love the President so much and find him amusing or some sort of religious savior as he causes damage on multiple levels to our society and to those around him: let a child like him be born into your family.
This could either be a child or a grandchild. Watch the family have to deal with all the mischief and mayhem he or she causes. Watch the divorces, the anguish, the abuse, and the conflicts he or she causes.
To those who claim the President is chosen by God, let them deal with such a “divine” person everyday of their lives for 18+ years.
Then perhaps they will learn not to so enjoy the pain he causes to others as they experience that pain and conflict close up and directly in their families.
Cosmic or divine justice for all MAGA parents: Let a child just like the President be born into their family.
