according to one of my heroes (paul krugman) the recent trade deal that taco and the boys in treasury made was a loser for the u.s. businesses and manufacturers. the previous deal with less tariffs involved wasn’t that bad for us. he also makes the point that there are more trade talks ahead being negotiated by the treasury, who made this not-so-great deal. hmmm treasury clowns. look for the next fed chair to come from there. i really grooved with the japanese musicians in his coda. paulkrugman.substack.com/...
