When Breaking the Law Is a Moral Obligation [1]

In an age where injustice often hides behind legality, I’ve been reflecting on the difference between laws that maintain order and laws that perpetuate oppression. History teaches us that some of our most celebrated heroes—Rosa Parks, Gandhi, MLK—broke the law in pursuit of moral clarity.

I recently wrote a blog post on this idea: when is it not just acceptable, but morally imperative to defy unjust laws? I explore examples from history and today, and the criteria we might use to guide such decisions.
