Dr Oz emailed me [1]

Not too long ago a story was written on DailyKos about an email message many of us received from Social Security, making claims that were more propaganda than information. In addition, that message was from the Commissioner of Social Security itself — not just a generic informational message from the department.
Today (Friday) I received the message pictured above, from the head of Medicare, Dr. Oz himself. Offering me his medical advice.
I’m unlikely to take medical advice from Dr. Oz, for a number of reasons. Moreover, I don’t recall receiving “personal” messages from the previous heads of Social Security or Medicare — or did I receive messages from the previous heads and their names simply didn’t jump out at me like a trapdoor spider?
It’s telling that Dr. Oz talks of “my new email series,” rather than Medicare’s new email series. I wonder how that sits with the medical professionals who work for Medicare — I assume some are still left?
