The curious flip-flop of Trump with Musk [1]

After Musk left the White House things changed very quickly between Elon Musk and Donald Trump. First, it was Elon's opposition to the Big Ugly Bill, and then Musk started mentioning Trump and Jeffrey Epstein.

Trump responded that the government could save a lot of money by getting rid of all of Musk's subsidies for his businesses, especially SpaceX. He even said that Elon should go back to South Africa. He implied that he could denaturalize and deport Musk just like he wants to do with people like Mamdani.

When Musk came up with the idea for a third political party, Trump went ballistic. Then Elon started asking pointed questions about Trump and Epstein again.

Today, Trump said all is forgiven:

Trump is a rattlesnake, disturbed in his hole, right now.

For once, I am at a loss for words to explain what Trump is up to. Elon must be wondering, too.
