Epstein Escape: Perhaps Mike Johnson Should Shut Down The House Until 2026 Elections [1]

House Speaker Mike Johnson has chosen the coward’s way out of the Epstein debacle. Instead of permitting a bipartisan vote in the House to release the entire Epstein files, he has chosen to send Congressional representatives on their scheduled recess a little early, avoiding a vote that clearly would have passed. His obvious hope is that delaying such a vote for a month (the Congressional recess was scheduled to occur from August 4 to September 1) will result in loss of interest. I suggest that the way to really kill any bipartisan vote on the release of the Epstein files is to shut down the House until the 2026 national elections. Then no vote could be taken. Problem solved, right Mikey? The Republican controlled House doesn’t seem interested in solving any national problems now that it has passed the Big Billionaire Bonanza Budget, so why continue the pretense of actually governing? Just a thought!
