DNC, *DPVA, DLCC* Unsupported Candidate [1]

Recently, it has been announced that the DNC raised $8.6 million in June, $50 million this year. That number should mean the party has plenty of funding to support all the delegate races. If they split the money evenly between the 100 delegates, that would be $86,000 each.
That is not how they split the money. They give millions to the top ticket and split the rest between the 10 special selected delegate candidates. These 10 are in battleground districts that they predict will win. Anyone that falls outside of their specific metrics, which they do not publicize, does not get support.
I am in the “waiting room,” so to speak. I have been informed they are watching my race. At the same time, they announced a candidate with a similar race who raised less than me as one of their candidates. I wonder if his elevation to “special” candidate means I will not be selected.
Here is the frustration: $86,000 is a massive amount of money that each candidate, especially in poorer areas, would be able to use to reach more voters. Why do they beg candidates to run, then make us jump through invisible hoops to beg for support? My district is a +9 district. THAT IS WINNABLE. I have raised roughly $30,000 and have outworked my opponent every step of the way. I have a physical disability and I still door knock daily. I spend all day calling people for funds, only to get told donors are trusting the party to fund their candidates and that their donations will go to the DNC.
Running for office is exhausting. I’m exhausted but I remind myself every day this isn’t about me. This is about all the people ignored by the political system. This is about the homeless. This is about the disabled. This is about the unemployed. This is about every single person who has cried out, begged their elected officials for help, and been ignored. Maybe they will support me in the future, but much like in Lily Franklin’s first race, I do not expect any assistance. They will support me when I win, or beg for me to run again if I come close to winning, but until then I am one of the 90 Unsupported Candidates.
