Trump finds a new way to fire everybody [1]

Trump wants to get rid of everybody Joe Biden put into a job and every person who knows how to do a job. He wants to turn the government into a sycophant organization praising him while being completely non-functional. He doesn't care, he wants applause.
Still another executive order that has gone unnoticed because of all of the other news that Trump generates. It's called "Creating Schedule G in the Excepted Service."
The fact sheet for it is euphemistically called "President Donald J. Trump Creates New Classification for Federal Employees to Help Serve the American People." Sounds so good, doesn't it? Well, it's not.
"Schedule G positions will be non-career positions, meaning incumbents will generally be expected to leave when the president who appointed them leaves office. Schedule G will not apply to career positions or career employees."
In the executive order, he says that they are expected to resign. But the executive order also redefines the classifications for A, B, C, D, and E Federal jobs.
"Except as required by statute, the Civil Service Rules and Regulations shall not apply to removals from positions listed in Schedules A, C, D, E, Policy/Career, or G, or from for positions excepted from the competitive service by statute."
Trump didn't just create a new schedule class, he's found another way to fire everybody that isn't a Schedule B. He already can fire everybody in Schedule F, which he put into effect when he first took office. Those Civil Service Rules and Regulations are what allow government employees to do things like whistleblowing without retaliation. You get fired, whoever fired you had better have a damn good reason for it. Trump has turned that into "your job performance is not up to par," as an excuse for firing you. This suspension of the rules for all these job classes means there is no recourse for being fired.
He even puts administrative law judges into Schedule E, so they can be fired without recourse.
In the fact sheet, there is a large section labeled "Addressing Gaps in Government Efficiency." It whines about how difficult it is to remove poor performing or corrupt employees.
"President Trump is reducing bureaucratic inefficiencies by ensuring Federal agencies prioritize the will of the American people over entrenched interests."
He's saying it right out in the open. First the Biden "deep state" goes. Then it's everyone else who doesn't sign the loyalty oath. Basically, he can now fire anyone who isn't in a lifetime position, like a federal judge. Like the Supreme Court. Jerome Powell at the Federal Reserve has a 10 year term. But, even that seems to be changing, because the Supreme Court conservatives are letting him get away with murder.
Every federal employee union needs to read this executive order. Soon unions won't be allowed to exist either. In the meantime, Trump can fire anyone in the union. Their civil rights have just been taken away. Everyone who isn't in a union, also needs to read up on what just happened to their job classification, because it isn't what you think it is anymore. Donald Trump just rewrote the rules.
