Efforts are finally paying off to increase government efficiency. While Pete Marocco thought it was necessary to lay off thousands of USAID employees to dismantle our foreign assistance programs, the Department of Justice is testing the hypothesis that targeted firings of Maureen Comey and a few others will suffice to destroy the SDNY’s tradition of prosecuting cases “without fear or favor.”
The Washington Post reports that the State Department layoffs were led by a team of outsiders willing to “break stuff” – like the law.
The Daily Beast reports that Secretary of State Marco Rubio has told all U.S. diplomats that they have to speak like President Trump. The Department is now offering training seminars for all remaining staff in rambling incoherently and lying.
After photos of Donald Trump with Jeffrey Epstein began appearing around London before the royal visit, Newsweek reached out to the White House for comment. Response: “We couldn’t find any pictures of him with Melania.”
