sir dook-a-lot returns..!! counting the piles around the yard...he stops by often.
before leaving...he stops to admire his work
while I have many chores waiting...delayed two months by jury duty...we’ve been able squeeze in time for friends. had a few for the 4th weekend. and had juror #2 come up a couple days ago. she is a character. speaks German and Japanese. a black woman stationed in Germany when I was literally in diapers. then transferred to the presidio. apparently the women’s bunks looked out at the Golden Gate bridge.

this week our niece and her boyfriend are coming in from back east.
Suki has really been enjoying her walks outside...
..her favorite part is just sitting in our laps...
..enjoying the views
not the first time I found this guy sleeping in our patio umbrellas...may need to put up a bat house...add it to the list.
this misty morning we decided to take the back road down to the beach...
stopped by this beach for a stroll.
