What is the plan? [1]

There is no one coming to save us. The GOP has went full authoritarian. It is much easier to pledge fealty to a king, all to make it look like the GOP Congress is getting things done. They are, alright. None of it good.

Democratic leadership does the regular thing and votes against GOP legislation. A fat lot of good it has done. There are a few presidential candidates who are making waves…Pritzer, Newsom, and Democratic representatives demanding to see detainment centers (that really are just in the early stages of concentration camps. How soon until the Trump admistration decides to put then to work)?

Why are we leaving leadership in the hands of New York Democrats who would just rather not? Not take a stance on Palestine, not challenge the status quo (you can’t challenge the status quo if you ARE the status quo), and not support Mamdani because they are also basically Republicans but who want to throw crumbs to the lower classes? They sure claim to have the moral high ground, while doing little to actually pull themselves up to the moral high ground.

I am not saying Wisconsin’s perfect, but Democrats here have been fighting Republican overreach for the past 15 years. Executive branch overreach? Check. A complicit legislature? Check. A feckless high court that just lets it all happen? Check. WI has turned it around. Still working on getting the Legislature. Trump is basically a Scott Walker, but a much better salesman and a higher profile. I am still disappointed Ben Wikler didn’t get it to be chair of the Democratic Party. I think the tone would be quite a bit different. The DNC fight with David Hogg is the same as the NY fight with Mamdani. Will they ever learn?

There are fighters in New York, but they are written off as extreme, and much of the time it is from OTHER Democrats. Jeffries, Hochul, Schumer, and Gillibrand—you know you NEED their votes to get any power back, right? You guys need to learn to take allegations of socialism like a badge of honor. You act scared, and the GOP will keep pounding away at this. It is like they are fighting back against Republicans, but disarming allies who could help them. I think they want to keep their top positions and win, too.

I want to know what the plan is. If there is a plan, I haven’t heard. That is a worry of mine in itself. Finally, Epstein is a waste of everyone’s time.
