Newsom in 2028 [1]

If there is an election in 2028, is it really that out of the realm of possibility that Newsom could win?

I mean, in 2005, who was even entertaining the thought that a black man with a Muslim name could possibly win the next presidential election?

And remember in 2020, the party nominated a very old, uncharismatic moderate establishment politician and won — and with Trump on the ballot, no less.

If things are bad enough in 2028, I think Newsom could win, despite issues with California. I have mixed feelings about him, but he is relatively young, fairly charismatic and more of a fighter than most Dem politicians.

What are your thoughts?
