In double standards: a different view [1]

I am appalled, as many others, by the double standard of the media on the mental fitness of the last two presidents.

Biden’s evident problems have been considered intolerable and substantially they ended its candidacy.

Trump’s manifest decline is met with a shrug of the shoulders.

I have started blaming the media on that until I got that it’s not only the media, I feel the same double standard too!

And my reason is this: I was terribly worry that Biden’s decline would have gifted the presidency to Trump and this worrying amplified the effect of his lapses.

Now, I see Trump’s decline is not my biggest worry, but, conversely, I am almost relieved by it because I have the feeling that this will get worse and prevent him from completing his fascist program.

I am not telling that the media shares the same feeling, but maybe in the back of everybody’s mind there is something like it
