Ukraine Invasion Day 1,239: Putin's theory of victory lies in his unwillingness to compromise [1]

Russian forces conducted a series of drone strikes against Ukraine on the night of July 14 and 15.

In total, 148 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of this day. Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely repel the enemy's attempts to advance deep into our territory, inflicting fire damage.

Today, the Russian invaders launched one missile and 39 air strikes against our troops' positions and settlements, using three missiles and dropping 61 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they used 1,218 kamikaze drones and fired more than 4,000 times.

- Ten combat engagements took place in the North Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors since the beginning of the day. In addition, the enemy conducted one air strike, dropping four guided aerial bombs, and fired 165 times at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities, including three times from multiple launch rocket systems.

- In the South Slobozhansky sector, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy attacks near the towns of Vovchansk and Stroyivka. One combat engagement is still ongoing.

- In the Kupyansk sector, the aggressor tried to advance five times in the area of Stepova Novoselivka, Zahryzove and Pishchane. Ukrainian defenders stopped all enemy attacks.

- In the Lyman sector, Russian invaders attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 24 times near the settlements of Novyi Myr, Novoyehorivka, Hrekivka, Karpivka, Kolodyazi, Zelena Dolyna, Torske, towards Shandryholove and Serebryanka. Four combat engagements are still ongoing.

- In the Siversky sector, our defenders repelled two attacks by the occupation forces near Hryhorivka and Vyymka.

- In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy attacked our troops' positions seven times in the areas of Predtechyno, Bila Hora and Stupochky. One combat engagement is still ongoing.

- In the Toretsk sector, Russians stormed the positions of Ukrainian troops five times near Diliyivka, Toretsk, Novospaske and Rusyn Yar.

- In the Pokrovsk sector, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has tried to advance 41 times in the areas of Popov Yar, Novoekonomichne, Myrolyubivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Zvirove, Udachne, Oleksiyivka, towards the settlements of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Muravka Filiya, Dachne. Three combat engagements have taken place so far.

According to preliminary data, 93 occupants were neutralized in this area today, 63 of them were killed irrevocably. Also, 4 cars, 2 motorcycles, 22 unmanned aerial vehicles and one cannon were destroyed. In addition, one tank and one cannon of the occupants were damaged.

- In the Orikhivsk sector, the occupants launched an air strike in the vicinity of Novoandriivka.

- In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Ukrainian troops repelled seven occupants' attacks in the area of Antonivskyi Bridge and near Kozulskyi and Zabych islands.

**Today, it is worth noting the soldiers of the 121st separate territorial defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who are effectively holding back the enemy.**
