US History 101 – Year 2050 [1]

Well children, the mightiest leader in the world at the time, the one with the mightiest army, strongest economy, was cut down by what was essentially nothing more than gossip. From propaganda to conspiracy theories, the mighty US was fell by their own gullibility and love for gossip.
Its enemies basically got enough of the population to contribute to their own demise by feeding them a constant slew of misinformation and disinformation, that started in dark corners of the web but then spread like fungi to every part of the country including its leadership.
Common sense was shed faster than a horny teen sheds clothes for sex. People were ditching science and lining up to drink urine and take horsemeds in lieu of vaccines, I kid you not. Diseases that had been eradicated roared back to death with cheers, claiming the youngest and the elderly first. Yes, common sense was in such short supply they didn’t even seem to realize their beliefs was the cause of their demise.
Had conspiracy theorists stayed in their respective delusions, the US might have stood a chance, but they were fed a leader, a man so incompetent he makes stagnant water looks like Niagara falls. A man who claimed to be the best deal maker but bankrupted 6 businesses, yes that man, the one called Tacoman! The conspiracists flocked to his banner, even going so far as to call him the chosen one, again I kid you not. They called a man who cheated on every single one of his wives the chosen one.
The only thing Tacoman was good at was the art of the con, and man did he con his supporters. Many bankrupted themselves to support the Billionaire con man, buying his crypto, sneakers, phones, coins, perfume, anything and everything you could merch, he merched and sold them. Every single one of these “made in china” even as he was preaching make America great again. He sold so much “Made in China” merch, it’s a wonder those decked out in them didn’t turn Chinese on the spot. Scientist are still analyzing the phenomenon.
Writings from that era tell us many believed Tacoman was charismatic, looking at untouched images, that is rather hard to believe, unless charismatic meant something else back then. His speech was often slurred and incoherent, so much so, that he had to come up with a term to describe his ramblings “the weave”. His intellect seems to have been misplaced somewhere during birth or his youth if we’re charitable.
And while there were videos galore of Tacoman saying one thing one day and another the next, his followers could not be brought to believe the man was a liar. Even though he raked up a record which to this day hasn’t been broken for the highest number of lies by an elected official. If one believes in magic, it almost seemed as if his followers were under some sort of spell.
He claimed to know more about everything than anyone, yet couldn’t explain anything. The number of his gaffes is only rivaled by the number of his lies. How he managed to convince 77 million people that science was evil, climate change fake, green energy inefficient, is still under investigation.
Some blame his rise on the lack of proper education of his followers, I reject that opinion, for being uneducated is not the same as being unintelligent, I rather think his followers were bored and he offered entertainment. For there was never a dull day with Tacoman, why even windmills were serial killers and water was wet.
So children, the mighty US fell because of gossip and entertainment, the era of Reality TV hit the white house and the rest as we say was history.
