Trump Ruins Everything... Club World Cup Edition [1]

All I wanted was to see my beloved Chelsea lift the FIFA Club World Cup trophy after knocking off PSG, and thankfully saving us from more fawning stories about the best team Middle Eastern money can buy, but nope, Trump had to ruin it by remaining on the stage to celebrate with the players. Seriously, WTF?
I highly doubt that Trump could name a position on the pitch other than Goal Keeper, and even that is debatable., and he’s be railing against these player and insisting they be deported if they played for US clubs. If he wants to attend the match, fine, present the medals, ok, but to stay on stage for the celebration was just an appalling, yet sadly predictable lack of self awareness. The players seemed perplexed and a little peeved at his presence. My guess is following the booing he received, he wanted to bask in the cheers directed at Chelsea and pretend they were for him. I was especially heartened by the Wanker! chants that continually broke out at the bar where I watched the match when Trump appeared on screen
Trump watched the match with the odious Gianni Infantino, who took over FIFA, a corrupt organization of rich guys who look for ways to line their own pockets. They also occasionally put on football tournaments), from the equally odious Sepp Blatter. Trump later congratullated Infantino on running the “league” FIFA isn’t a league, and said he was considering an executive order to change the name soccer to football in the US… glad to see he’s focused on the real important issues of our time.
So thanks for ruining every picture of the celebration douchebag. Get ready for more of this nonsense next year at the World Cup
