Like most anything, a fork in the road demands a decision. And that decision comes loaded with gives and takes, pros and cons. If you’re looking for the ‘perfect’ solution, you won’t find it here.
Our motto is ‘Who are these people selling us land who never paid for it themselves?’ Think about it. No, really, think about it. I’ve captured the thought with a picture of the first pilgrim to step onto the north American continent, having stepped out of the boat he was rowed ashore in, standing on the sand from which as far as the eye can see, stretching north and south are very old pines towering above them. He then turns to look down upon his son whose hand he is holding. And remarks, ‘Son, someday you’ll be able to buy a home from a banker here.’ If you believe in scams, or conspiracies, or greed, most certainly this could easily account for the title ‘Royal Scam’. If you don’t subscribe to any of the above, chances are still good you don’t own a home and would like to see a remedy.
Stability is our primary focus. We feel any act of government that in any way destabilizes the nation and its’ people is treasonous in nature. We feel the primary reason for government is stability.
Platform:
It is the purpose of this party to unite the country under the common goals of most people. This party will address first and foremost issues that affect all Americans. We feel land, and in particular, a home is the primary thrust an individual hopes for in life and from their country. We feel this is the primary reason an individual thrives. A home. We feel stability in a nation is the primary reason for government. We feel a home is the most stabilizing acquisition an individual can achieve. We feel the sale of land should be stymied considerably when considering homelessness. We will eradicate homelessness by amending the constitution to include 5 acres of arable land to every citizen upon reaching 18 years of age.
The party will author an amendment which will have legislative oversight for its integration. It will take into consideration conditions of marriage, size of household, disabilities. These considerations may be expanded upon to further perfect the legislation. The overall effect of the legislation will be to take into account existing neighborhoods, homesteading, lifestyle, intelligent use of resources with regards to building new homes, climate change considerations and the impact it has geographically in the nation. FDIC banks will no longer be given jurisdiction over property (No more ‘Freddie Fannie nonsense and no more need for Frank/Dodd). All mortgages will be adjusted by the established standard deduction. All credits and debits will be addressed appropriately with either ongoing mortgages, or checks being issued for credits.
A standard deduction of the average price to build a home from scratch will be given to those with mortgages, relative to their household size and adjusted accordingly. Incentive will be built in to encourage smaller families. Those who have paid off their homes will receive this deduction in the form of a check.
The nation will engage in an effort to address home shortages and build those homes at cost. Maintenance of the infrastructure with regards to homes will enjoy further efforts to stabilize individuals when major living components such as furnaces, etc. go bad. The responsible maintenance of American properties, no matter who owns them, will be monitored. If abuse is detected, it will summarily be addressed by the governing bodies at the appropriate time. Such as someone abandoning the property.
It is our feeling natural rights comes into play with land for the following two reasons.
You are a mammal and are bound by gravity to this planet. You must stand on it. You do not need to ‘qualify’ for a place to stand. Nor can you be considered vagrant needing a place to stand from which you cannot lawfully be removed. You have a right to stand on this planet unmolested.
2. As a mammal, you require food and water, each of which are only available through the land. You have a right to sustenance. You do not need to qualify, nor can you be denied water and food. Your ability to get these two necessities must remain unimpeded.
Beneficial outlook of the platform:
Acquiring a home will be as easy as applying for a driver’s license. You go to your local federal agency handling the application and apply. The agency hands you a list of local available properties befitting of your household. You select one. It’s yours! Tax free. No more land tax on primary residence. It's yours forever. You may will it to someone. It’s first come, first choose.
One of the most spectacular achievements of the bill will be its ability to address mobility. An individual can pack up and go where the jobs are. Go where they’re going to school. No more dorms if a student chooses, say, apartment living. Education is looking more affordable.
America would become the first major nation to eradicate homelessness.
Job creation in a national construction worker training program effort to build and maintain homes should be sustainable. The acquisition of building materials at harvesting costs should be realized.
Job creation on local levels would include administrative office infrastructure, building/maintenance material dispatch depots.
Now concerning the pros of the bill, all subsidized housing costs currently being realized nationwide vanish. As, so do the jobs and their overhead costs to government. Far less ‘welfare state’ to deal with.
The marketplace for small businesses should see a boom from the additional revenue available in consumers' pockets. This of course would lead to job creation and the American dream would be realized far more often.
The nations moral would likely be the highest seen in history. And therefore, production higher. This is the place where capitalism and socialism together achieve the highest levels of providence a nation can.
